Every people in the world have known that dating is a familiar thing and it is becoming a general habit for them. In the fact, not only adult do a dating but teenagers also do it. As we know that the teenagers are getting puberty and it makes the teenagers have interest feeling with another gender. So, they will look for boy friend or girl friend to be their relation. Actually, dating can be danger for teenagers if they cannot control their self. In this paper we will talk about the positive and negative thing of dating for teenagers.
Dating can be safe for teenagers if they have a good think what they have to do and do not must to do. There are positive impacts when teenagers do a dating with a good control. The first, dating can be spirit for teenagers to do the daily life. For example, the majority of teenagers still study and they have obligation which have to do. So, they can make a promise with their couple to study together and they can share about the lesson, or they will be spirit to go to school. The others example, teenagers will make a good perform a religious service. When I ask to one of the couple in my university about religious, they said, “My boy friend always orders me to do pray”. So, it is positive impact of dating to their religion. The second, dating can make teenagers know what does love mean. Teenagers have to make a different between love and desire. Especially for man, If they know what is the meaning of love they will bear mutual respect to girls. So, the boys will protect or look after the girls and the girls will feel save. It trains the obligation also for teenagers.
However, dating not only has positive impact, but also has negative impact for teenagers. There are three negative impacts for teenagers when they do a dating with their couples. Dating can make them become lazier or forget their time. They only think about having fun, so they leave their obligation as a student. Moreover, they are not focus with their studies. Next, dating can be wasteful for teenagers. They like to be extravagant with money when they get a dating. They do not think where their money comes from, because having fun with the spouse is more important. Exactly, they get the money from their parents but they do not care about that. The last is dangerous impact and it is about free sex. Many teenagers make a dating just for their desire, but there is no love and it is a dangerous. Sometimes, they do not think about the impact for their future. Additionally, it can happen because of broken on heart. So, teenagers have to be carefull.
In conclusion, make a dating for teenagers are never mine, but they must make a balance with the obligation as student. The parents have a role about these. They have to look after their children activity. In addition, the parents must be able to be friend for their children. So, they can tell everything and control their children’s activity.
